Dr. Welton T. Smith III is the beloved Pastor of the Greater Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church.  His voice champions various civic responsibilities including AIDS Awareness and Men’s Health issues. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Bishop College in Dallas, Texas, and received his Master’s of Divinity from the School of Theology at Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia.  He holds a Doctorate Degree from Shreveport Bible College in Shreveport, Louisiana.  

Married to Pastor Smith for over 30 years, Reverend Debra Smith holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Communications from Pan American Business College in Richmond, Virginia. Reverend Smith diligently serves the members of Greater Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church.  Under her leadership, the Women’s ministry has blossomed into a beacon in the Las Vegas community. Her passion for ministry catapulted her to be a sought-after speaker in the valley. She has grown the GEMBC scholarship Fund to new heights.  

Pastor Smith and Reverend Smith have labored together in ministry for over twenty years.  Both have served Churches, Conventions, and the U.S. Military as Facilitators, Messengers, and Instructors.  They are anointed to teach, preach and heal through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
